Love Valley; is a just little bit outside of Goreme village taking 10 minutes by car and just 15 minutes from Uchisar. You can very interesting rock formations like cones, mushrooms ext. you can visit the viewpoint from above or you can trek right down to the base of huge rock structures. It’s a safe and easy hike and you get a real feel of the Cappadocia magic.
Red and Rose valley: derives their name from the pinkish red-colored rock that varies throughout different times of the day. Red Valley and Rose Valley of Cappadocia is the best sunset-watching places. They are a must-visit, especially at rock churches and fairy chimneys and unforgettable landscapes.
Ortahisar castle: towering above the village of Ortahisar, is one of its biggest tourist attractions. It was opened to the public in 2013 after extensive renovations. Ortahisar village is just a 10-minute drive from Goreme and about the same time to Uchisar by car. You can get a fantastic view from the peak fo the castle which can be seen the panorama of Hallacdere valley - the fairy chimneys valley, and the majestic, snow-capped volcano Erciyes.
Kaymaklı underground city is one of the largest and the widest underground cities in Cappadocia. It has got 8 floors below ground but only 4 floors are open to visit today.it is built under the hill known Citedal of Kaymaklı town. Kaymaklı underground city has ventilation shafts, winery, stone doors, a food storage room, and various other large rooms and small and low tunnels.
Cavusin village is 2 km away from Göreme and on the way to Avanos.One of the oldest settlements of Cappadocia. It is also famous its church of Saint John the Baptist belonging to the 5th century.
