Istanbul city tour is a full-day guided sightseeing tour. In the İstanbul city tour program, You will see highlights of Istanbul bellows;
Hagia Sophia Museum is built 6th century by I.Justiniounus. It is considered that it is changed the history of architecture. The oldest cathedral in the world and is famous for its massive dome. Its Stones and doors had been brought from the older temples and churches at that time. It was built as a church and used for a mosque in Ottoman times and is now a museum in the Turkish republic time.
Blue Mosque known also as Sultan Ahmet Mosque was built in the 17th century. Its name derives from the world-famous exquisite blue Iznik tiles decorating its interior. It is the only imperial mosque in the world that was originally built with six minarets. The upper side is made up of 20000 ceramic tiles each having 60 tulip designs. On the lower side, it has 200 stained glass windows.
Hippodrome Square, the sporting and social center of old Byzantium, and held 100,000 spectators. It has also got structures such as Kaiser Wilhelm II Fountain, Egyptian Obelisk, Serpent Column, and Constantine Porphyrogenitus
Grand Covered Bazaar is the largest and oldest covered bazaar in the world. It was the center of trade and commerce in Istanbul with more than 4000 shops and 61 covered streets. It is a cultural market where traditional and historical objects are sold. This market is located in a closed area. In general, the structure of the market has been the same for many years.
Topkapı palace was built between 1466 and 1478 by sultan Mehmet II on top of a hill in a small peninsula. It was the principal residence of early and mid-era Ottoman Sultans and the center of administration of the Ottoman Empire from the 15th to 19th centuries. During our visit, we will see the fabulous Imperial Treasury, the Baghdad Kiosk, Holy Relics, and the Kitchen Section including one of the world’s finest collections of Chinese celadon ceramics. The Harem is also located inside the palace which was forbidden to anyone except the Sultan.
Valide Mosque is also called New Mosque and was completed in the 17th century, this was the last imperial mosque built in the classical style. It has a main dome and four half domes and two minarets with 2 balconies.
